Introducing aviation machinery as art! A range of detailed cut-away illustrations of iconic Second World War aircraft produced by aviation enthusiast Darren Johnson.
Influenced by his father’s love of aviation, Darren’s love of aircraft started at a young age. He currently works as a graphic designer, but he originally trained at art college as a technical illustrator. A previous client was the IWM at Duxford and it was during this time that his passion for aircraft and his strong illustrative skills really came into effect.
Darren wanted to create images to show the genius of engineering that goes into building an aircraft. In producing these cut-away images he has created something unique and appealing to fellow aviation enthusiasts
